Micropiles are
small diameter, deep foundation piles. They are typically less
than 12" in diameter. Micropiles can be installed with small
drilling equipment, making them very cost effective and allowing work
to commence in tight spots. Some of our rigs can drill under 8
foot ceilings!
Uses of
Micropiles
Structural Foundation Support Support structures during renovation Embankment, slope & landslide stabilization Structural Underpinning Benefits of Micropiles Minimum vibration Access to low-clearance and tight areas High load/bearing capacity Capable of penetrating subsurface obstructions Easily tested for strength Economical |
